Quackback Cloud is the hosted edition of the same product. You get boards, inbox, roadmap, changelog, and a help center without operating Postgres or Docker.

  1. Go to quackback.io and create a Cloud workspace.
  2. Choose a workspace name. This becomes your default subdomain (your-workspace.quackback.app).
  3. Complete onboarding: workspace name, first board, and your admin account.

Portal voters are free and unlimited. Teammates who work in admin use seats.

First hour

Work through these in order:

  1. Core concepts — boards, posts, statuses, roles
  2. Structure your workspace — boards, statuses, and tags that match how you work
  3. Launch your portal — get users submitting
  4. Triage feedback in the inbox — a repeatable daily review

Cloud vs self-hosted

The product is the same. Cloud adds managed hosting, per-seat billing, and included AI usage. See Managed Cloud for plans.

If you want to run it yourself, start with Self-host Quackback or the local quick start.
