This article explains how much Quackback AI usage each Cloud plan includes, how the AI usage meter resets, what happens when usage runs out, and how many emails each plan sends per month.
Every Cloud plan includes Quackback AI usage, and you pay for your plan, not per outcome. There is no separate AI add-on, and Cloud does not charge per resolved conversation.
Quackback AI covers these features:
- The AI agent: answers customer questions from your help center
- Drafts: suggested replies and post copy
- Insights: summaries, sentiment, and trends
- Copilot: summarize threads, draft replies, and propose actions for your team
- Semantic search: find related posts even when the wording differs
- Similar-post and duplicate suggestions: catch merges early when you triage
- Post summaries: the core user need, key quotes, and suggested next steps
Your plan sets how much AI usage you get. What's included on each plan lists which features each plan can use.
Note: Cloud turns these features on for you. Self-hosted installs connect their own AI endpoint instead. See Configure AI features.
Included AI usage
Each plan includes this AI usage per workspace, per month:

The AI usage meter on Admin > Settings > Plan & billing shows the percentage of your included usage used this period. Usage resets monthly, at the start of each calendar month. A trial's AI allowance resets when the trial ends instead.
When usage runs out
When your included usage runs out, Quackback AI pauses until the next month. To keep it running sooner, upgrade to a plan with more usage.
Any credit your workspace bought before purchases were discontinued is still used after the included usage. It is used up before Quackback AI pauses.
Emails per month
Each plan includes this many emails per month:

More is available on request. Only changelog emails and status page incident and maintenance emails count toward this allowance. Support, mention, and sign-in emails do not. Email usage resets monthly too, and upgrading gives you a higher allowance.
