File previews and editable replies

Attachments in conversations now preview in place, and teammates can edit or delete their own support replies and notes after sending.

File previews

  • Previews for PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, CSVs, text files, images and archives, prepared in the background
  • HEIC and TIFF images viewable in the browser
  • Any file type attachable from every composer in the inbox, widget and portal
  • Files of up to 25 MB each (100 MB for video), each with its own progress bar and retry
  • Programs blocked from anonymous senders, including ones with a renamed extension

Edit and delete

  • Edit or delete your own sent replies
  • Edit or delete your own internal notes
  • "(edited)" mark shown to customers live, without a page refresh

Improvements

  • Cleaner Markdown formatting in conversations
  • Pasted screenshots keep their proportions
  • Images and video open in the browser, and other files download

Availability: Support inbox and widget. Support must be on in Settings > General.
