Email and GitHub support channels
Support email sent to your own address and issues opened on GitHub now arrive in the Support inbox as conversations, alongside chat.
- Incoming support email as inbox conversations
- Replies from your own address on a verified sending domain, with threading, attachments and inline images
- Domain verification against your real DNS records, with automatic re-checks
- Review of held or refused mail, with badges showing whether the sender checked out
- Automatic acknowledgement when a new conversation arrives
GitHub
- Issues from enabled repositories arrive as conversations
- Public replies post as issue comments, and internal notes stay internal
- Closing or reopening the conversation closes or reopens the issue
- Delivery ticks on replies, with retry for any that failed
- Edits and deletions of GitHub comments shown as they happen
Availability: Settings > Support > Channels > Email and Settings > Support > Channels > GitHub. Support must be on in Settings > General, and GitHub is turned on per repository.
