Migrate from Canny & faster performance
Switching from Canny? A new import pipeline makes migration straightforward. We've also shipped significant performance improvements across the board.
Canny importer
Migrate everything from Canny with a dedicated import pipeline:
- Feedback posts — titles, descriptions, statuses, and categories
- Votes — preserved with original voter attribution
- Comments — full threads with timestamps intact
- Users — profiles and email addresses
Your existing data comes over intact so you can pick up right where you left off.
Smarter post deletion
When you delete a post that has linked issues in external trackers, Quackback now gives you control over what happens to those issues:
- A dialog shows every linked issue with a checkbox to archive or close it
- Supports Linear, GitHub, Jira, GitLab, ClickUp, Asana, Shortcut, Azure DevOps, Trello, Notion, and Monday
- Configure the default behavior per integration in settings
No more orphaned issues left behind after cleaning up your feedback board.
Performance improvements
Quackback is noticeably faster across the board:
- Page loads — tenant settings and integration data are now cached with automatic invalidation
- MCP search — response size reduced from ~170KB to ~40KB per page
- Admin inbox — query payload reduced from ~1.4MB to ~200KB per 100 posts
Bug fixes
- Fixed OAuth token exchange errors for MCP clients like Claude Code
- Fixed widget vote highlights not appearing after SSO
- Fixed dark theme flicker on admin pages
- Fixed posts showing "Unknown" author when created via MCP
