Changelog

Capture feedback directly from Slack

Your team is already discussing customer feedback in Slack. Now you can send it straight to Quackback without leaving the conversation.

Two ways to capture feedback from Slack

Message shortcut — Any team member can forward a Slack message to Quackback with the "Send to Quackback" shortcut. One click turns a conversation into actionable, trackable feedback.

Channel monitoring — Configure specific Slack channels for automatic ingestion. Every message posted there flows into your feedback pipeline automatically — no manual forwarding required.

AI signals in context

AI-generated insights now appear directly in the post detail view, right where you need them:

  • Duplicate signals with inline merge/dismiss actions
  • Summary badges for quick context at a glance
  • Similar post suggestions to spot patterns

A new merge dropdown offers "Merge others into this" and "Merge into existing" directions, with AI suggestions built in. An amber badge appears when pending duplicates need your attention.

Activity timeline

Every post now has a full activity history, so you can see exactly what happened and when:

  • Status changes and who made them
  • Merges and unmerges
  • Tag additions and removals
  • Owner assignments
  • Proxy votes and their attribution

Proxy voting

Sometimes feedback comes in over a call or a support ticket. Admins can now vote on behalf of users with full attribution tracking — the voters modal shows who added each vote and how.

Other improvements

  • Author selector — admins can choose who a post is created on behalf of
  • API expansion — 5 new REST endpoints and 5 new MCP tools (17 → 22 total)
  • Cleaner nav — the standalone Incoming page is now a sub-tab under Feedback
