Changelog

AI agents can now manage your entire workflow

The Quackback MCP server now covers the full product surface, and we've overhauled the OAuth experience for connecting AI tools.

8 new MCP tools

AI agents can now run complete feedback workflows end-to-end. The new tools bring the total from 7 to 15:

  • Changelogs — create, update, and delete changelog entries
  • Comments — update, delete, and react to comments
  • Roadmap — add or remove posts from the roadmap
  • Merging — merge and unmerge duplicate posts

This means agents like Claude and Cursor can now triage feedback, draft changelogs, resolve duplicates, and manage your roadmap without leaving the chat.

Redesigned OAuth consent

When connecting AI tools, the consent screen now shows:

  • The application's name, logo, and domain
  • Human-readable permission labels
  • Only the scopes that matter (technical plumbing is hidden)

Role changes also take effect immediately — no need to wait for token expiry after updating someone's access.

Pinned comments replace official responses

The old "official response" system has been replaced with pinned comments — a more flexible approach that supports:

  • Threading and nested replies
  • Emoji reactions
  • Editing after the fact

Existing official responses are automatically migrated to pinned comments.

Other improvements

  • Explicit add/remove reactions replace the old toggle, preventing accidental state flips
  • Admin inbox pagination is now faster on large datasets
